RENEW GARDENS

GARDEN DESIGN, BUILD and CARE

We are a duo with fine-art backgrounds. We create sensorial spaces in Sussex, brimming with character and colour

The art of garden design

As a duo with fine art backgrounds, we renew whole spaces with meticulous care for shape, texture and colour; those qualities which can help make a garden look and feel like a personal, private idyll. Viewing the garden as a three-dimensional, ever-evolving canvas, plants are our paints of choice and a detailed plant knowledge allows us to create beautiful, nature-focused spaces.

A balanced framework

We’re advocates for planting rather than large areas of paving, but see hard landscaping—paths, pergolas, trellis, sleepers, fences, and decking—as important to the bone structure of our canvas. Renewing a garden can involve working with time-worn elements, or beginning again with a brand new blueprint. Either way, the hard and the organic should perfectly meld to create an atmosphere of balance and calm.

Material details

Our artistic approach doesn’t stop at plants and paths. We can help to marry all materials in your garden design, including furniture, paint colours, stone and wood. We can design and source container arrangements for areas close to the house. We’re accomplished in interior design from working with our own personal spaces and bring this understanding of materials and accessories to the outdoor room.

Garden care

We undertake garden maintenance for gardens we’ve built and gardens we haven’t. We’re RHS qualified horticulturists with many years of experience in all manner of gardens. We can undertake pruning, planting, mulching, weeding, feeding, staking, composting and all the other tasks associated with the successful upkeep of an ornamental garden.

"After a couple of attempts at designing our own garden, we decided to get in Renew. They were great to work with and we're very happy with the results."
